RDR Implementation Audit

As the RDR implementation deadline approaches, we are being asked almost daily by advisers that have been adapting their business models and developing both their client propositions and adviser charging strategy, if we can assess whether they are on the right track. The RDR Implementation Audit has been designed specifically to do so.

What’s involved?

We carry out one full day’s on-site consulting at your office speaking with all business owners and other key individuals nominated by them. We will specifically

  • Analyse the approach you have taken to client segmentation
  • Evaluate your client proposition and suggest potential refinements/improvements
  • Establish the commerciality of your adviser charging model at each point of the advice process (advice, implementation, review)
  • Role play your “initial meeting” and suggest ways to make it more compelling, powerful and persuasive
  • Examine your client facing marketing materials and offer suggested edits and improvements
  • Explore how you intend to reposition your services and relationship with your existing clients
  • Discuss your strategy for managing lower value client relationships post 2012
  • Examine what management information you use to measure how the business is performing and suggest possible measures you could consider.

What you get?

As well as providing input and ideas throughout the day, we will follow up with a written “Gap Analysis” identifying possible refinements and improvements you could make in each area, together with a list of “Actions for Implementation” to help you focus on the key priorities for your business.
